I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have three children and one grandchild and work in a Secondary school. After university I travelled overland to India via Europe, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. In India we were in the north Amritsar, Calcutta (now Kolcuta) Mussourie, Delhi, Agra, Rewalsar, Kulu, Manali, Banares, Darjeeling & Kalimpong. I've also spent some time in France, Spain, Libya and the Bay Area of California. Recently I studied with the Open University and Centre for Human Ecology for a Diploma in Human Ecology. I'm a member of the Arthur Ransome Society and the Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers & Association of Websters. Currently I'm a Unison Shop Steward, Spokesperson for the Legalise Cannabis Campaign Scotland (which has its own Myspace site) and a Big Green Gathering shareholder.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Someone who knows how to get Yak Band CDs. A Tibetan speaking person to give me an idea of what the lyrics of the Tibetan songs I've typed up say! People who have a gig for Ron King to play his jazzy reggae at. See blog.Andy Tait from Cargenbridge and Hamilton, Ontario. The Kara Gele Turkoman from Malta and Watford.
