The Bastard Priest was born Jonathan Johnson. He was born to a Carolina man and a honky tonk woman. Making music since the beginning of the time known to him, he has returned from his decade long sabbatical with a promise to continue where he left off and fill any holes he once dug.
His releases include The End of Tomorrow, Days Like These, Black Jesus, Down There, and The Beginning of It All.
At this time, all of his albums but one are out of print. The Bastard Priest vows to release a greatest hits album in the near future.
The Bastard Priest has recently found himself joining the Break! Records team.
One of his unreleased recordings has just been featured (and released for the first time in history) on The Chop Shop Split E.P.
