I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

Hey, my name is Terri as you can see. I'm a single, honest, dependable, artistic East Texas girl with a wacky sense of humor. I love to have fun but I can be serious and responsible when I need to be. I'm also a loyal friend. I hate fighting;I prefer my communication without the added drama. I don't like HEAD GAMES so please...be cool and be straight!!! I have an easy-going personality. Feel free to ask me about anything I may have left out :)
I'm happy dressing up or down as the situation dictates ( Usually comfortably "bummed out" during the day and dresses at night if going out). I have an adventurous spirit, but I also like to stay in and watch a good movie or game. I don't have children of my own; I like children and don't have any problems with others having children. I love music but can't sing at all, at least I shouldn't lol. Of course, if I turn my music up loudly enough, I can't hear myself! (update: I have recently sang off key "kareoking" at a party and it WAS NOT pretty! Even worse, it was recorded lol...Thank goodness the phone battery was low)

I'm young at heart; age is just a number to me. I have an outgoing nature. I look forward to making new friends and hearing from my older friends!
I love to travel whenever I get the chance. Following are some of the places I enjoy. (I took these pictures). First is Wrigley Field in Chicago (Craig Biggio is at bat!). Second is Pompano Beach, FL. Next is Panama City Beach, FL and Cancun Beach, Mexico. I LOVE beaches. Fremont Street in Las Vegas follows. Last but not least - the sky rise buildings of Manhattan, NY.

My Interests

Traveling, spending time with friends, watching sports in general, listening to music, attending concerts, the arts, exercising daily, gardening, landscaping, baking, amateur photography, computer, scrapbooking, and being outdoors. Go Cowboys!!!

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet fun, interesting ( honest and considerate) people who have a positive view of life, a sense of humor and good character . Please, no spammers, psychotics, pathological liars or requests from the web cam people. Thanks for visiting my page - everyone else is welcome!!!

Music:

Different genres: classic rock, alternative, country, top 40-pop, dance, r&b, reggae, early rap like Run DMC but rarely current hiphop (it's changed a lot) and soul. I was fortunate to see James Brown at the B.B. King Club at Times Square in June 2006.

I've enjoyed concerts from George Strait to Van Halen. Some of my favorite concerts include: Rolling Stones in San Antonio; ZZ Top and Steve Miller Band in Dallas; Tim McGraw at Monroe and Shreveport, LA; Journey, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, 38 Special and lots more at Shreveport, LA; and Lynrd Skynrd at Tyler, TX. There are still a lot of artists that I'd love to see perform live, like the Eagles, Prince, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crowe, Daughtry, Hinder and Nickelback...

Movies:

Suspense, crime/mafia movies like Godfather and Goodfellas; period movies like Troy and Gladiator; comedies, action, sports themed movies like We Are The Titans; sci-fi; mythological fantasy like Lord of the Rings.

Television:

CSI; Law and Order; House; football, baseball and basketball; reality tv (like Survivor and American Idol but the last seasons are lame); comedies (like Two and a Half Men),history channel and discovery. I love old Saturday Night Live, In Living Color and Mad TV. I use the television as background noise so I often hear shows but I'm not "glued to the set" very often.

Books:

My reading usually consists of online news/sports articles. I research a lot (information junkie). I read non-fiction books.

Heroes:

My parents (my father has passed on due to cancer). I admire our troops for their sacrifice, especially my nephew Joshua (Marines)and my best friend's son, Jonathan (Army)...

In a state as big as Texas, even native Texans don't know where everything is, especially the small towns. In fact I don't know where most small towns are. My first reaction is to ask, "So what part o...
