My name is Raquel, but you can call me "Rara" if you'd like.
I hail from Battle Creek, Michigan, but I live in Socal now.
I've been drawing since the age of 2, and I also love to write short stories.
I used to do modeling once upon a time, but I wasn't very successful. I don't like lots of pointless drama.
I've been using photoshop for 8 years and I'm an expert in photo retouching - however, I tend not to put the full effort into my own pictures because somehow I feel like that's cheating a little.
I love manga and anime, I've been studying Japanese on and off on my own since I was 14 years old.
I love music, all different types of it, so if you have a band you love, let me know about it so I can listen too!
I love fashion, makeup, hair, and nails, that's why I'm a nail tech in training. I like to make people beautiful, digitally and in real life.
I love cats! Right now I'm raising kittens that my boyfriend's cat recently gave birth to!
Finally, I don't add everyone who requests me. I look at your profile, and if I feel we don't have enough in common, or I simply hate your profile picture, I won't add you. I'm picky like that.
I WILL weed through my friends from time to time and take out people if I don't like their profile picture, especially if it's slutty looking, sorry people, I just don't want to see some ho in my friends list.

I'm a good person to go to for advice because I've lived through a lot of shit, but more importantly, I won't sugar coat things for you, I'll tell you the truth, even if the truth hurts.
I believe everything in life happens for a reason, and I believe pain only makes us learn and makes us stronger.
We may never see eye to eye but I do not hate anyone, however, some people really disgust me.
I believe life is about love and friendship, and sharing our lives with each other and learning from each other.
I'm a freak, it's true, and I've been told this many times in my life. I'm deeply interested in psychology, abnormal psychology, and the psychology behind sex and sexual preferences. If that freaks you out, oh well! I can be very honest and frank when it comes to talking about people, and myself. I will be completely open with you! If this bothers you, it's not my problem.
I fully believe perception is reality. If you don't understand what I mean by that, ask me and I'll try my best to explain it to you.
