deadbeatz started when the production skills of Zehl and the lyrical mastery of Justin combined forces in 2000 over continued drug abuse, sexual stalking of women/girls, and dedicated anti-christian morals. Due to the constant practice of those listed above releasing music has been difficult for the pair for the last couple of years. A renewed vow has taken place recently, an oath to end commercialized, bubble gum, emotionless music. It starts with deadbeatz, it ends with you.
