Smiles aka Jared Bertelli has had a love for music from a very young age. At the age of 15 he opened a studio with a fellow classmate. On a tight budget of $1200 they hade to settle for mediocre equipment. With there budget studio they produced some good quality recordings. At the age of 16 smiles was arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. That same year he was blessed to get a job at Rollock Family Ent. as a recording engineer/producer. Since then Smiles has turned out multiple hit songs including I love my haters, By Fratboy. He has also been able to travel with the Ruff Ryders. The most memorable trip was to Myrtle Beach where he was on stage with Big Daddy Kane, Cassidy, DMX, Drag-on, Eve, Flashy, Tahmeik, Cupid, and Swizz Beatz. Smiles was also lucky enough to be featured in DMX’s music video “Alreadyâ€. At the age of 17 Smiles has already been doin big things, and all of you should be on the look out for him in a couple of years as he quotes “I’LL BE ON TOPâ€!
