She is a technomaniac, fascinated by clubbing. She was in her teens when realized that she is more into a dj stand than a dancefloor. In 2004, not even a year after she bought her first turntables, debuted in her hometown club Bagdad Cafe. She kicked off with progressive style. At that time she was organizing thematic parties in Luka club promoting this kind of music on the local scene. She cofounded a DJ collective Casa del Sol that organized various cycles of events: „Dzwieki Swiata", „Ritmo Sensual", „Bassexuality", „Importacion". She started to invite artists from abroad, i.e. Nicola Gala and Dominic Plaza. While performing in Music Bar, she was one of the firsts to create a progressive scene in Lódz. In 2006 she got involved in a project called „Ladies Night” – a cycle of parties with the aim of promoting women on Polish club scene. At that time her style evolved from progressive to more underground sounds like: tech – house, minimal, deep. She developed her style during working for Soda club in Lódz. She invited DJ’s from the whole Europe for her cyclical parties „Minimalove” and „Wild Women”. In 2008 she started collaboration with club OIOM (Lódz) and joined Skylarkrecords group. She also participates in a project “Technical Girls” realized in various clubs i.e. OIOM and Esculap (Poznan).Privately Kate Sun loves spining around the city on her bike, she is addicted to buying colourful gadgets and is fascinated by Berlin street style.
