Just Another Cat With A Guitar

At the time of my graduation from Paschal High School in 1971, I participated in all aspects of the music program which included marching band, concert band, stage band, and music theory studies. As a high school student at R. L. Paschal High School in Ft. Worth, I was selected as a member of the All-Star Jazz Bands at competitions at Tarleton State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, the Brownwood Music Festival, and the Castleberry High School Music Festival. After playing one year in college, I auditioned for and was accepted by the U.S. Air Force Band. I have played professionally for 30 years. I have also been certified to work with second language learners through Baylor University, and I have experience working with ESL musicians. In addition to my ESL students here in the United States, I have also taught at the Guangxi Music and Arts College in Guangxi Province, China.
