I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

What's up everybody?!? For those of you who don't know me, my name is Mannix and I'm a California native. From what I've been told by friends and co-workers (most of them are not from California), there aren't too many of us around anymore. At least not here in the Bay Area. I've lived here in the Bay Area all my life and I just love it here. Other than living in a tropical paradise (if I were rich and I didn't have to work), I don't see myself living anywhere else but here.
I like to stay in shape. As I get older, it gets harder and harder (I'm trying to get my six-pack back!). I try to get to the gym 3-5 times a week, but it doesn't always work out that way. I love watching NBA games, especially Lakers basketball. For football, I watch the Denver Broncos and the University of Michigan Wolverines.
I have a beautiful fiancé who I love very much. We enjoy wine tasting, whether it's just the two of us or with family and/or good friends. If you like wine at all, you gotta try to visit Ledson Winery in the Sonoma Valley. I highly recommend it! Some of my other favorites are V. Sattui & Rodney Strong.
If you'd like to know more about me, drop me a line. ;-)
BTW....if you were wondering where I got my first name, I was named after a TV show of the same name. It was a crime drama, and the main character was a private investigator named Joe Mannix. The show aired on CBS in the late 60's to the mid 70's.
My nicknames:
AXE - Axe-Man - Max - Mannaxman - Mannax - Maniax - Minus - Minwax - Manic - Spandex - Bert

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Bruce Lee, Magic Johnson
