About Me

I live in east Menlo Park with a home full of amazing women. I am so grateful for the depth, growth and this chance to live as a houseful of girls for this season. The RWC (that's R dub C) had been a good home to me for 2 years. And I just moved pretty recently just a couple miles away from the old house. I used to work with a church in the area and lead the high school group. Currently, I am working a job orgainizing papers and filing stuff. I like it and it's good for the temporary season of life I am in. God is growing in me a perspective of service. He's also teaching me a lot about wisdom in relationships and using my money for others. I am extremely dumbstruck at times with the wealth that we so often take for granted living here in the states. And I want to share the abundance that I have been given with others who are in need. This is hard to remember at times, when I already live a relatively simple life with not much, so I often think that I don't have much to give. But spending a Tuesday night to serve a community of homeless people has rattled my perspective and showed me otherwise. Right now, I'm very thankful for my bed, and for having a heating blanket. I like to crochet, especially beanies. I love Pixar movies. They make me laugh. I really like to laugh and have good real conversations. As opposed to fake ones. I used to longboard a lot, and still have one, but I haven't gotten a chance to ride it in a while, which will most likely change soon due to an unfortunate series of events that has to do with a car accident. Now I'm rambling. Time to go...
