ABOUT THE PASTOR…Pastor Michael Jason Neville was born in Whittier, California to parents Michael and Donna Neville His folks were traveling evangelists at the time and so - as Jason puts it - the first few years of his life he “visited many States without even knowing it!†In 1976 Jason’s parents settled down in a Pastoral position in a small church in Maywood, CA which has since grown into a fellowship of churches and ministries world-wide. Although Jason was never pressured to “follow in his dad’s footsteps†in regard to pursuing ministry, at a young age he embraced the values of God that were being passed down to him by his folks. By Jason’s own testimony, he survived the peer-pressures that life brings; the ups and downs and the pains and sorrows connected with life as he learned to trust God. As a teenager, Jason began to develop a deeper more personal relationship with Christ and began to grow in his faith and clarity of calling. Over the last fifteen years Jason has been used in Youth ministry as a Youth Pastor He has been involved in the Christian Music industry for eleven years and has traveled all over the U.S. as well as in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Nicaragua, Cuba, England, Holland, Mexico, Estonia, France and Singapore ministering in word and music. A resident of Downey for the majority of his life, he has seen the city grow in every aspect. Jason will bring a great message of hope to our community Jason met the love of his life (Jackie) in March of 1996 at church and they have now been married for ten years and have three children. Jackie has a degree in Child Development and has worked several teaching jobs and has a real passion for teaching the values of God to children.
