Hi, I'm a TRUE Republican (unlike Bush, etc., instead I'm a combo Lincoln/Reagan Republican) and if you don't like it, you know where you can go cause I've heard every criticism there is about conservatism/libertarianism and very rarely can socialists prove their programs work. By the way, "LA RAZA" refers to radical latinos who want to take our land. Every STATE should pass a Proposition similiar to CA's PROPOSITION 187 back in 1994, which would have restricted illegal alien access to California tax payer financed services if the courts hand not overturned it. It will save your STATE LOTS of money FOR YOU and YOUR family, not theirs. Its TIME FOR 187 on "LA RAZA".
One of my other purposes politically is to advocate for California (and other States) having intelligent redistricting reforms, so that the two parties have to actually compete for votes in every district possible. When competition is in play, people usually choose Republicans. I support redistricting political organizations like the "Voices of Reform Project", www.voicesofreform.org.
One reform that should apply in EVERY State is making State Senate Districts similar to our Federal Senate (etched in stone) by giving each county with in a State an equal number of Senators.
So in CA, where we have 58 counties, if we all had one, we'd have 58 Senators and never have to redistrict the Senate again. It would equalize rural and urban CA rather than allowing politicians to pack urban areas with multiple Senators and running rough-shod over rural counties.
Imagine if the Federal Senate didn't have an equal number of Senators per State, we wouldn't have a fair Union. State Assembly Districts should be awarded by county population (each County should have at least 1) and the Districts drawn by the local County Board of Supervisors, they are accountable to County voters for writing unfair Districts. In CA, I would increase the number of Assembly Members to reflect our large population, perhaps to 140, almost doubling the number we have now. This whole system would even things out between rural and urban interests.
I would still allow the State Legislature to draw Board of Equalization Districts and Congressional Districts, or if necessary, have the California Supreme Court do it. So-called "Independent Commissions" won't necessarily draw fair districts.found this travel layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
