The year 2000 was the year when everything started: DJ Fudge bought his first turntable and mixer. In 2001 he formed the successful group "The Battleship" together with a group of rappers and DJ in Luleå. A couple of years later as a student at the University of Music in Piteå, Sweden, he started KOI-soundsystem together with a couple of good friends (the project is currently alive and doing well in Malmö! www.klubbkoi.com). After graduating he moved to Gothenburg. Shortly after his move in 2002 Fudge hooked up with Christoffer Svenningsson and joined immediatly to be the final piece in the Ziontist Soundsystem:The Ziontist Sound was founded the 15th of March 2001 by Chris, played by himself and his good friend Simon Kallerdahl (Chewie). The two started of with "RiddimDriven", a strictly reggae/dancehall club, on a boat harboured in Gothenburg. People were showing them a lot of appreciation for their hard work. "RiddimDriven" moved to Cronan after about a year and a half at the boat because of increased attention from all kinds of people. Cronan was the steady “home†of both Ziontist Sound and RiddimDriven until April 2005.In early February 2005 Ziontist Sound was crowned champions of the WestCoast in a regional soundclash held in Nefertiti, Gothenburg.
