About Me

counterfeit molly formed in 2001 and have played numerous shows both local (Virginia) and other east coast states from New York to Florida. Gained a strong fan base which continues to grow and have had the pleasure of opening for national touring acts such as Staind, The Smithereens, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Tantric, Family Force 5, and Seven Mary Three. They released an 8 song EP in July 2004 titled "counterfeit molly" and released a full length album in June 2007 titled "The Eternal Optimist". counterfeit molly released their album "Subtext" in Feb 2009 and plan to tour in support of it. e-mail - [email protected], www.counterfeitmolly.net
