About Me

Formed in Summer 1977 at St Augustine's High School Edinburgh.First show December 1977 St Margaret's Church Hall Davidson's MainsSent demo tape of rehearsals to Bruce Findlay of Bruce's Records (shop). Signed to Zoom Records of Edinburgh 1978: "Some Other Guy" b/w "Rock & Roll Ain't Dead" (Aug 1978) Crowned Young band of the Year by Southern TV on Saturday Banana December 1978 "I Can't get Over You" b/w "Answers" (January 1979)Left school in June 1980 and came to the attention of Paul Weller with "Get Away From it All" (which was to have been the first single for the mooted "Great British Pop Record Company" but was never officially released) Supported The Jam at the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre on the first of many occassions in October 1980 and signed to Respond Records 1981.Many records, press, tours, and tv later . . . . . . . .Last live show at 100 Club Oxford Street London November 30 1984.
