Biography
Karen always had a dream to be successful in the music industry but
never would have thought it would be hip-hop/rap the one to get her
started. At age nine she came to the US (Phx, Az) along with her family
looking forward to a better future.
Everything began with her passion to write at age ten, writing her first
actual song at age thirteen. After more than six notebooks loaded with
poems, short stories, and a few songs she took the next step to record
in April of 2005.
For a straight year Karen would work hard to develop her gift by
recording songs almost on a daily basis. She would go on to Record her
song "Microfonos Y Rimas", song that quickly got great review and
would make its way to Mixshow play on 107.9 FM, La Kalle en
Fresno, CA thanks to DJ Sergio Roman.
Good things come to Karen in the months of April, because at one year
after she had recorded her first song Karen was laying her first steps on
a stage at a local Los Angeles Fair, Karen first preformance ever was
televised on local Telemundo's News later that night. It was now official,
Karen had begun her "Konquista" with a month full of shows running up
and down the state of California hitting cities like Los Angeles, Fresno
and Sacramento.
At just a year of rapping, Karen has already recorded with artists like
Latin Grammy Winner Frost (Sindicato Argentino del Hip Hop),
Souldado (aka Site, on a side spanish project of 2nd State /
F.I.L.T.H.E.E . Immigrants) , Apolo 11 (ARG)
among others. Karen has already been seen
on stage opening up for artists like Sick Symphonies (PSYCHO REALM/ STREET PLATOON), Tha Mexikanz,
and Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill.
This young lady out of Arizona is well on her way on becoming a first in
her kind, a true star and Latin Hip Hop hero.
