I'd like to meet:
Me? A scout for unintentional performance art; witty to the tune of wine spraying out your nose; chatty & introspective; a journeyman chef and understaffed entertainer; dorky; profoundly fascinated by garden-variety reality; a consumer of media on a sometimes unsettling scale; love to fill the piñatas; unmotivated until I become super-motivated; good at croquet; A total Summer Camp Nerd; Funnier than every single one of the jackasses you last got drunk with. I will kick you in the nuts.

Music:
'Indie/Alternative' by default, but open and accepting of anything but that damn 'Young Country' crap. Peddle your steel Gee-tar somewhere else, hoss. Today's playlist: Mates of State, Beck, Ghostface Killah, ass-loads of mash-ups, Wolf Parade, NWA and Miles "can kick your ass" Davis.
Movies:
PTA, Wes Anderson and Los Bros. Cohen. Charlie Kaufman is the king of the god damn world. I'll watch Johnny Depp butter toast.
Television:
Arrested Development, 24, Office, Lost, MTV reality crack, BSG, America's Test Kitchen, Good Eats, Food network until my eyes bleed. HBO on DVD, because Comcast can suck it.
Books:
Salinger, Dick, Vonnegut, Irving, Fitzgerald, Hunter S., McSweeney's, Moore, Clowes, Tomine, lots of other geeky shit. "The Partly Cloudy Patriot" By Sarah Vowell. Collected essays on civics and society. In the "This American Life" Winner-Take-All grudge match, she kicks Sedaris in the teeth; 4:1. Also "Summer Blonde" by Adrian Tomine and like a 100 furniture mags.
Heroes:
Chuck Woolery. No Discussion.
