Tom Sela

Tom Sela was born in Haifa, Israel on September 29th, 1988. Growing up in a culturally enriched environment, Tom was exposed to many musical styles and genres. Introduced to dance music by his brothers, Tom took a liking to electronic music as a whole at a young age and began exploring the different genres. At age fifteen, Tom was introduced to the basics of Propellerheads Reason by his eldest brother who had been taking a Digital Media Arts course in University. It wasn’t until two years later, however, that Tom began working with his friend Ron Bercovitch (better known as Sunquest) and really started taking production seriously. In 2007, Tom struck his first record deal in collaboration with Texan producer Harris Briggs on Fraction Records; Sela & Briggs – 'The Day Will Come'. Tom currently resides in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada attending York University, but still strives to improve his production abilities while trying out many different production styles.
