There are no absolutes in life. Only in vodka.

About Me

I work for an organization that lobbies for small business. I strive to make sure I put the new cover sheet on my TPS reports. I also hold the rank of sergeant in the Army Reserve, where I am a public affairs non-commissioned officer. I have been to Iraq and back. I served with the 3rd Infantry Division and the 1st Armored Division while I was there from 2003-2004. I am happily married to the most wonderful person on Earth (Yes, I am sucking up. She is of Sicilian decent and I am trying not to be thrown in the trunk of a black Lincoln and thrown into a river). I also have a wonderful 2-year-old daughter whom is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Visit the SLM Website -- The Anti-Squirrel Coalition

My Interests

Buffalo chicken wings, Beer, Apple Macintosh computers, grilling (I am sometimes known as the Grill Sergeant), traveling, Golden Tee Golf (the video game), real golf, University of Kentucky basketball and football, Tennessee Titans football, Nashville Predators hockey, Maker's Mark bourbon (I am a Maker's Mark ambassador), politics (I am a Kentucky Colonel, commissioned by former Ky. Gov. Paul Patton before the sex scandal) music and movies.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interesting. But not too weird. I have plenty of friends who are too weird. Anyway, if you are not too wierd, but just plain weird or less, you can catch me on AOL Instant Messenger screen name TPrudenTN if I am ever actually on.

Music:

I can pretty much listen to anything. My CD collection is quite the menagerie. I probably enjoy '80s pop/rock and country the most. My favorite artist is Angie Aparo.

Movies:

I enjoy drama and war movies most. My favorite movies are "Aliens", "The Insider", "Grosse Point Blank", "Office Space", and "Platoon".

What Office Space character are you?

Television:

"Homicide: Life on the Street" is by far the best show to grace the small screen. I also like "Law & Order" and "Seinfeld".

Books:

I rarely to never read books. I find it a waste of time. But, when I was wasting time in Iraq, I did read two novels (the first I have ever read cover-to-cover). "The Firm" by John Grisham and "Without Remorse" by Tom Clancy (a page turner).

Heroes:

My grandfather, Maj. Shelby T. Denton. He paid his way through college and law school by being an Army officer in WWII. He fought in the battle of Anzio and the invasion of Southern France, got shot in the leg, and still was able to raise five kids upon his return home. He later started his own law practice and was elected county attorney of Daviess County, Kentucky, for two consecutive terms. And, of course, my wife, whom endured hell while I was away.
