***Section For Videos and Music Conserning Lakshmi-Narayana/Vishnu:
Om Namo Narayana
A beautifully done and inspiring video. This prayer to Lord Vishnu is called the Tirumantra or Ashtakmantra and is one of the most important and original Maha-mantras for Vaishnavas in traditional, orthodox Hinduism. Ramanujacharya brought this Maha-mantra from out of secrecy for the benefit and upliftment of Humanity..
This is a very ancient and powerful prayer to Vishnu. It is one of the most important hymns for Shruti or Vedic Scripture following Vaishnavas or Vishnu devotees. It is very esoteric and mystical. It describes Gods deeper aspects. To know and understand this suktam, meditate on God WITHIN you.
This is a very soul-stirring, powerful and primary prayers to the proper form of Vishnu to be worshipped for this age of kali....Venkateshwara. The lady singing it is M.S. Subbalaxshmi. She was a renowned Carnactic singer in India for many years. I have grown soo much from this prayer and from this lady. The primary theme of this prayer,….is Surrendering to and glorifying God.
This is a very beautiful prayer that is intoned in the morning by Vaishnavas to Vekateshwara; the Scripturally/Vedically proper form of Vishnu to worship to in this age of kali. Another reason this is a good video, is that it has the roman transliteration and english translation...so you can understand what is being intoned. The lady intoning this prayer, her name was M.S. Subbalakshmi. Her version of this prayer is the best.
This is a beautiful and inspiring mantra to Lakshmi mata. Lakshmi is not only the Godess of Fortune, but, also our Path back to God. To appease Mother Lakshmi is to recieve the mercy and blessing of God or Vishnu. Lakshmi is Divine Love. She is Spiritual Purity. She is Divine Perfection. She is the embodiment of Spiritual attainment. She is Spiritual progress. Lakshmi represents Heaven or the Spiritual world.
This is an ancient and powerful hymn to Vishnu from the Rig Veda. This hymn is one of the main prayers in Orthodox Hinduism. It describes the nature and characteristics of God. Every one who adheres to the Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism should be familiar with this hymn.
This is a beautiful and wonderful video. The Gayatri mantra is the sum total and essense of the four Vedas and Upanishads. The Gayatri Mantra is very important for purification and enlightenment. And, is the most important mantra in Hinduism. One of the Brahma-Vidya states....the Gayatri mantra IS Brahman.
First Hymn in the Rig Veda to Agni; the Fire god
The Rig Veda is the oldest religious scripture in the world. The mantra is for Agni, the fire god. How the mantra is being intoned is the correct and proper way Vedically. And,it still sounds just as powerful and fresh as when it was intoned 5,000 years ago,...because it is rooted in the un-swerving eternal nature and power of God.
Beautiful Story of Prajapati or Brahma(Lord of all living beings) from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad; a lesson in the three Divine qualities.
Wonderful story from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad about Brahma/Prajapati teaching the devas, the humans and demons about three very important Divine Vedic/Dharmic qualities to cultivate within them to inprove Spiritually. Very informative.
Sri Suktam; Vedic Hymn from the Sama Veda to Lakshmi Ma
The Sri Suktam or Lakshmi Suktam is one of the main Pancha-Suktani or Five Suktams that are used in Vedic/Hindu rituals and ceremonies. It is said, that this Suktam to Lakshmi bestows mystical blessings and powers to people who intone it regularly. A Suktam is an excerpt from one of the Original four Vedas; Rig, Sama, Yajur (Shukla and Krishna or White and Black Yajur Veda) and Atharva Veda. The Sri (Lakshmi) Suktam is from the Sama Veda. Regular chanting of this Suktam is very purifying.
A wonderful dramatization from the Srimad Bhagavatam or Bhagavata Purana of the beginnings of the age of Kali or Kali yuga.
Please, please watch, learn and protect yourself from the spiritually debilitating influence of the age of Kali...age we live in. It is only by spiritual practices, adhererence to Spiritual Virtues and your loving devotion to God that will help you stave off the spiritually hindering currents of the age.
This is a very beautiful prayer to Vishnu. Who, according to the original Vedic scriptures, is the Supreme Soul and the Supreme God. The singing and music is very soothing and soul-stirring.
