About Me
Hello out there! A little bit about your's truly; I grew up in the Capital District area of New York. I started playing guitar at the age of 14. Some early influences include Ace Frehley, Michael Schenker, Alex Lifeson, AC/DC, Randy Rhoads, and Van Halen. Some of my current influences include: John Petrucci, John Scofield, Steve Morse, Alex Skolnick, Allan Holdsworth, Al DiMeola, Wes Montgomery, Joe Satriani, Robben Ford, Jon Finn, Brett Garsed, Johnny A., and many other great players.
My musical journey began with trying to teach myself how to play. Soon I began guitar lessons with local teachers in addition to music theory classes in school. I have also received more formal training at The National Guitar Workshop, The American Institute of Guitar, and The Berklee College of Music.
I play in a rock cover band, the RUDE AWAKENING BAND in upstate New York. I teach guitar courses at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY, as well as a handful of private students.
When I'm not doing something musical I enjoy hiking, maintaining my pet rock collection, working on ways to visit the real estate I've recently purchased on the moon, and taking contributions for battered shrimp. Rock On!
