I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Life is amazing right now. Living in Japan, happy with my girlfriend, lost a ton of weight and still counting (I was 240 when I got here, 176 now), and I will be going to California for my best friend's wedding (as the best man may I add...) in October. Who can ask for more?I haven't changed much since Elementary school, besides my location, bank account, vocabulary, weight, height, and maturity.

I got my own Free MySpace Layouts from Pyzam.com

My Interests

Electronics, video games, MUSIC, Japan, cars, skating (when sober...right Neil?), electric guitar, golf (when I was in Cali. Too expensive in Japan), computers, other cultures (I see quite a few different ones out here surprisingly), travel, learning, knowledge, software, graphic design, web design, pop culture, anywhere outside of the US, PEOPLE!, and most important, life.

I'd like to meet:

People with pulses. I will give those without a chance though. I can find something in anyone to like. Seriously...Well not too seriously. I have recently come to hate the phenomenon in Japan of "Kokujin Daisuki"s. If you want to like people and appreciate their race, do more than just listen to rap and R&B, watch BET and MTV, and do some education on the history or at least accept that we aren't all the same! I didn't come here expecting geisha and samurai to crowd the streets, so why am I expected to be a rapper or DJ?Japan and it's people have some growing to do!

Music:

I listen to everything besides country music pretty much. I get sick of songs or some music genres rather quick so I am always looking for new songs or music styles.Who I like nowadays: Enter Shikari, She Wants Revenge, Teriyaki Boyz, Hadouken!, Does it Offend You Yeah. I am really into metalcore, electropop, dancepunk, etc. right now. Can you recommend any bands? Bands like She Wants Revenge, Bravery, Ladytron, Enter Shikari, etc.

Movies:

5th Element for the longest time, until Lord of the Rings came... The Professional, Mummy trilogy, Resident Evil series, Azumi, Casshern, The Returner, Versus, Lost in Translation, Chappelle Show season 1 and 2, Collateral, Willow, Full Metal Jacket, Matrix trilogy, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Snatch, Batman Begins, Final Fantasy:Spirits Within/Advent Children, D.A.F.T., Reservoir Dogs, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Constantine, The Island, War of the Worlds, my home made trip to Tokyo DVDs are the best movies EVER! Lost Season 1 DVDs, Arrested Development Seasons 1 and 2 DVDs, Jurassic Park trilogy, Hostel (Gotta love the T&A to set you up, then the gore to put you back into your seat, perfect balance!), Memoirs of a Geisha (Yeah they are Chinese, and spoke English, but that is Hollywood), Ultra Violet (future wife Milla is in it, so YEAH!!), King Kong (this movie is adrenaline INTENSE!), V for Vendetta (Wow... just wow...), Scary Movie 1,3 and 4, Silent Hill (video game movies are starting to get good now). Lost season 2 DVDs! The Prestige, Babel, Departed, Lucky Number Slevin

Television:

Now that I am in Japan, I don't watch much TV. But I found a way to watch Lost season 3 all season and was very pleased. Now I watch whatever Japanese dramas or TV shows my girlfriend watches!

Books:

LOTR Trilogy post the movies, because I am not cool like that, Isaac Asimov books back when I was younger. Now reading Japanese language books to up my skills, and how to play electric guitar books to up my skills. No matter how hard I try to up my skills, none of these will ever up my bills. Why did I just say that?

Heroes:

Neptunes, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Juicy J and DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, Kanye West, Alchemist, Just Blaze, Rza, MFDoom, Danger Mouse, Premier, Dr. Dre (for producing rap music) . Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Felix Da Housecat, Aphex Twin, Cassius (for producing and spinning House Music). Martin Luther King Jr. (do I need to explain?). People making sure they accomplish their goals and dreams in life, no matter how large or small, that is damn heroic and impressive. MOST HEROIC goes to my family who lived through Hurricane Katrina, and lost their homes. Especially my cousin who is a police officer in New Orleans. I know life out there was hard before it came, and after, I couldn't even imagine it. Hope their lives are doing better now.

My Blog
