Delmark Records

About Me

"The country's longest running independent label (over 50 years, since 1953!), Bob Koester's Delmark Records has had a dominant presence within the blues and jazz industries. Known throughout the world by true fans as well as browsers of the genres, some of the most prolific music ever recorded has come about as a direct result of Delmark sessions. For the last five-plus decades the record company has captured on vinyl, tapes, and CDs (and now DVDs!) the rare essence of blues and jazz. Within the traditionally solid styles of the genres, Delmark has amassed a vast quantity of newly released and reissued material. It just doesn't get any better than this!"- EMUSIC website.
