About Me

I have always been traveling and exploring new ideas. When I was in my 20s I became interested in the spirituality of India and began studying the teachings of a guru from India, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who accepted me as his disciple in 1975. Through him, I became interested in the ancient Sanskrit writings of India, which tell of ancient human civilizations that existed on earth in times far older than modern science is prepared to accept. This means we need new ideas about human origins. I have written books on these topics, including Forbidden Archeology and Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin's Theory. We did not evolve up from matter, but down from spirit. I present these ideas at archeology and anthropology conferences, universities, and scientific institutions around the world, as well as yoga societies, alternative science conferences, etc. I have also written about the relationship between Indian spirituality and the environment, as in my book Divine Nature. I am a devotee of Krishna. I am a vegetarian. I believe in reincarnation and karma. I like traveling to India and visiting ancient temples there in the course of my research into extreme human antiquity. My books are in about 20 languages, and I often do lecture tours and media events in countries around the world.
