About Me

ABOUT THE SONGS: SUNFLOWER is an all-electronic composition from my 2002 album Oceansketches featuring funky grooves. THE WORLD IS WATCHING is a bass guitar solo (played on a Music Man Stingray through a Boss digital delay) also from Oceansketches, recorded in 1993. PEACE, also from Oceansketches, is a layered vocal multi-track recording featuring four of me singing through a lot of delay, chorus and reverb. On FOLLOWING YOU DOWN, by Motor Jeffries, now of the band Party Country, I play fretless acoustic bass guitar and have a small lead-type of thing during the bridge. RA is my own composition, on which I play keyboards and am joined by my friend Rob Weston, owner of Great Magnet Recording Studios in Portland, who also plays keyboards. DRINK FROM WHAT YOU HOLD was one of my favorite songs by my former band Stranger Neighbor. It was written and sung by guitarist Douglas Cameron, and also features John Fricke on trumpet and bgv and Casey Miller on drums. It was recorded by Grammy- and Emmy- award winning engineer Kevin Clock at Colorado Sound in Denver CO.
