What began as a White Rap novelty act in the mid to late '80s has morphed into a cultural movement. CHANGE OF SCENERY (C.O.S.) has been ICONS within the white-rap scene since its conception and watched it grow into a powerhouse that has crossed all barriers, demographics and races.
C-Capacity O-Overload and S - Sir-Vive are- Change of Scenery- three white suburban emcees from the streets of Brentwood, Long Island who set out to become a white version of the successful Brentwood rap group EPMD. Although they were never signed they did become an underground phenomenon within the local scene. Many still hail C.O.S. as the first White Rap Group ever.
Today the mission of C.O.S. is simple- Unite the White Rappers of the world together and let’s begin a new musical revolution that can truly Change The Scenery. Our music can make a difference and together we will be HERD!
So join us and together we can all FEEL THE MUSIC!!!!!
HERE'S A VIDEO BY SOME LOCAL BRENTWOOD KIDS. I JUST LOVE THIS ONE!
