About Me

Hello everybody, My name is Sofia, and I am a jazz/blues singer, and jazz vocal teacher, from Athens, Greece. I have played with most Greek jazz musicians as: George Kontrafouris, Markos Alexiou, Dimitrios Vasilakis, Kostas Konstantionou, Nick Kapilidis, Manos Loutas. I have taken improvisation lessons with Rosana Eckert, Ed Byrne, George Kontrafouris, and attended workshops with Bobby Mc Ferrin. I have studied voice technique with Seth Riggs, Wendy Parr, Dave Stroud, Despina Katsari and Giorgos Samartzis. I teach vocal technique and jazz vocals privately and in Art’s Conservatory, Athens.I love to have friends!
