About Me

……First thing first and to make a long story short……Been playing in a couple of bands since ’90. Fear Itself (1990-1994), a Thrash metal band inspired by the likes of Overkill, Slayer and Metallica. Nothing exiting ever happened in that band regarding record deals, but we had a lot of fun while playing. Now I’m playing in Manticora . A power metal band with hard hitting influences like Forbidden, Testament and Blind Guardian. We’ve released 6 albums now, all with great reviews throughout the world. I guess I’m still waiting for the big breakthrough…..though. As a side project I have Mute Servant . A kind of industrial metal/rock band with influences both in the metal and industrial world. I use a lot of time in my home studio trying to make this work probably. It’s definitely more relaxing just doing the songs and then see what happens. It’s a great way to learn how to produce and record your own ideas at once. It’s a tough business playing and releasing albums in the underground metal business. Metal is an underground music style in itself, so when you dig deeper into the underground it’s practically impossible to stand out between the millions of bands screaming to be heard. I’ve always been into metal music and ever since I heard Savatage the first time I wanted to do that myself…….now we’ll see if my dream ever comes true. I’m a father and a husband. ……………two worlds I never thought I would become a part of……….but here I am and I’m loving every minute of it………definitely also a very rewarding experience.
