About Me: As one whose only hope is to pass the tests of life's challenges,to gain what is ahead through Christ,to a real world to come... I choose to live life without the facade of this world's pretences and short-term frills of nonsense...selfish gain, playing the games, measuring myself with others. I don't follow people. I must look ahead and know that for every action I take there will be a reaction of some kind, a consequence, and/or a reaping. My life affects others. I pray it will be for good, even if I'm not liked. When people hate, just because they want to, they reflect what's inside...the insecurities, jealousy, and pride. There's the empty life filled with selfish motives and restless nights. Then there's the good life, living with a good conscience, knowing that you can go to sleep in peace, because all is well within the soul...because of the true living Son of God who refreshes the soul........For those who aren't afraid to be different, to be pure minded, real, and humbled before God, I am aspired by those few. Each day I realize that I need God to cleanse my heart. Although we may fail in some our efforts to do right, with God's mercy, we can get up, whole, and brand new when we surrender each day to Him. He makes all things new each and every day..............If I live, let it not be in vain but with purpose in this short time on earth, not competing but promoting what is good and right in the eyes of God. May I try, in daily efforts, to seek truth about myself from within--to acknowledge before God any residue from this world's filth and give Him my all............... I am not who others say that I am but who Christ says I am. He knows the real me and knows how to take my wrongs and turn them around for my good, as lessons in life to build me and make all things work together for the good, for his purpose.......... Sometimes, what others see or judge may be an interpretation of how they perceive their own life......Truth must be sought out, uncovered, revealed, with the help of God. It's not always going to be obvious, or on the surface, or from a gossiper who manipulates what others think, for selfish control. Truth about ourself is peeling away the exterior and going deep within oneself in search for understanding of motives through God's spirit--allowing Him to do a work in ourself. Let the spirit of truth search our most inner hearts...... We've been given a gift of life on this earth. Let's not blow anymore than what's been wasted. Let's cut to the chase and take a hard look at our lives and know that without the mighty hand of a loving but justice Father in heaven, our lives will be one of chaos and darkness, or as fools thinking we do not need God. But until we drink from the living waters of Jesus Christ and find his peace, truth, healing, and purpose, our eyes won't be opened to truth. ......It is so important to examine decisions we make and their consequences. One wrong decision can change your life forever to bear the consequences of a momentary rush of foolishness. Take responsibility for your actions and move forward. Learn from your mistakes and make them stepping stones for your life. Consider how you have affected others and seek to make restitution. Bring meaningful purpose to your actions, not for selfish gain..."For what shall it profit a man if he should gain his whole world and lose his soul?" Gaining everyone's approval does not mean you have God's approval...... Jesus drank the bitter cup of death so we may have life, abundantly. He is able to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Seek his righteousness by asking Him to forgive all wrongs and choose to turn away from them....... One day, I hope that my death will be one worth the cause: let it be for a cause and not over something foolish. There is so much purpose to live for and purpose worth dying for. ..... In a little while, we will all enter eternity. Where will you go? What will you regret? Wake-up while you have time. Seek the ways of Christ and be made whole. Discover what should have been yours a long time ago...... God is real--people, and so is Hell. Please don't choose hell. Seek God with all your heart and forgive yourself and others, or you will not be forgiven and will perish! Unless you forgive, God said you will be tormented in your life. You imposed this on your life. It's not right to ask God for mercy and not give it to others. Read Matthew 11. Your life should be changed when you turn away from the ways of the world in remorse to God and ask Him to forgive you, make you whole, and allow His ways to infiltrate your life by learning of Him. Read the word of God. Your life should be radically changed. If not, you didn't fully repent......Don't taste religion. Live Christ. Oh...so good for the soul to finally be at home! May you know the Love of God in your heart and the peace that passes all understanding, Helen....................................................... .............................................------- I'd Like to Meet: People with vision, depth, insight, and a desire to grow wise----People who are funny but not demeaning----People who speak with sincerity and respect----People who are really kind from the heart (a rarity)----People who are young and old----People who have meaningful stories----People who have learned from their mistakes and want to help
