About Me

Benjamin Brighteyes was a Texas Country band that was started by Philip Griffin in the summer of 2007. Philip Griffin had been playing acoustic shows at the Met Coffee shop in Liberty for a year and a half, when he decided he wanted to put a band together and start playing again. He asked Dusty Newman if he wanted to join him on some of the acoustic shows, then he found Bill Pipes thru his friend LB Wilson, and the last and most importnat piece was Shane Pennington who he had meet several years earlier in 2004. The earch for a name was ended by using a few names from the guys, and the band was born.

Benefit

WE had a great time and helped to raise several thousand dollars for the Kalup McKeand fund raiser! Thanks to everyone who came out and stayed late into the night!
