Jack Davis and Crossbite

About Me

Jack Davis, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, started playing at age 14 and has been making music ever since. Making his way through Asia, the Caribbean, all over the U.S. and Canada and a few other places he doesn't remember, he finally landed in Washington Heights, NYC, one of his favorite corners of this particular planet. He has played at a gazillion joints around New York, including Radio City Music Hall, the Apollo Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Bottom Line, Small's, Washington's Kennedy Center, Arthur's Tavern, and recently appeared on Saturday Night Live in the band of Ray LaMontagne.Crossbite is Jack's band that plays a cutting edge mix of blues, rock, jazz and whatever else you want to call it. All original, hard-hitting music featuring a crack rhythm section and lots of trombone, bodhran and lyrics that tell stories and get the brainwaves working. Check us out, we love to play.
