I am here for Friends

About Me

It's taken me 35 years, but I'm finally realizing a few things.... Two steaks,a skewer of shrimp, pasta, two glasses of wine, a cup of coffee, and two donuts for dinner does not make for a good night's sleep.* You can't realistically expect people to act/react like they should,i.e., like you would.* I regret ever making any girl cry, for what ever reason. (Um, if I ever made any guys cry...shit, I don't even wanna think about how THAT might have happened.)* I'm stubborn.* Sometimes, you value your friends more than they value you. But it was never meant to be a competition, was it?* Sadly, I may never win the lottery. Which really, really sucks because it's the only way I could afford to have my f'd up shoulder x-rayed.* If life hands you lemons, take 'em. The price of produce is crazy.* Upon closer inspection in the mirror, I'm lucky to have ever been laid.* I'm tired now.

My Interests

Writing, reading, fishing, hanging out in coffee shops, shaking my fist at old ladies and small kids.

I'd like to meet:

Ralph Wiggum. Why? Consider this: -When he grows up he either wants to be a principal or a caterpillar. -His policy on foreign diplomacy? "Stranger danger! Stranger danger!" -After eating some wild berries, he proclaimed that they 'taste like burning!' -He beat the smart kids. -Sleep is when he's a Viking. -Even his boogers are spicy! -His cat's breath smells like cat food.Impressive,no?

Movies:

Usual Suspects, Love Actually, Naked Guns 1- 33 1/3, Lord of the Ring Trilogy, etc. As long as it's not a musical and doesn't contain 'Brokeback' in its title, I'll watch it.

Television:

The Simpsons,Seinfeld,NFL Football. That's about all that's worth watching.

Books:

Lord of the Flies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Hop On Pop, The Notebook, most Stephen King and Dean Koontz books.

Heroes:

Everybody except Martin Lawrence.

My Blog

Not quite farewell, but sorta.

It has come to my attention that lately, outside of bad checks, I’ve written nothing. I don’t mean here on Myspace, but my other hobby, screenplays. I call it a hobby instead of a jo...

Ah, the worst time of the year!

It's now official: I hate summer. Yes, the time of year I used to look so forward to as a kid (yes, I was once a baby billy goat), with its promises of visits to the beach, vacation from...

Women Are From Venus, Men Are Wrong

I have always been somewhat mentally slow, I guess, and am essentially a human crockpot in a world full of microwaves. So while most of you have learned long ago that the male and female way of...

Scientology

Recently, as I was hooking an IV of Dunkin' Donuts coffee to a vein in my neck and reading the paper, I accidentally read an article about J. Lo. When I say accidentally, I mean it, bec...

The Lottery

Okay, for years now I've been fighting to get the lottery here, Powerball in particular. I've personally visited several presidents (I have the stains on my dress to prove it), drew my...

Ahh, the best time of year!

After months of waiting, it's finally arrived: football season! It does my heart good to open up the newspaper and see helmet-clad warriors gracing the front page of the sports section. And I do...
