NEXT PARTY
PSYCHOGENE
To introduce Psychogene we have to go way back to 1988 when he first discovered the sound of house music. It was only a few years later when he bought his turntables and started mixin’. Because the techno scene was very young at the time, Psychogene decided to organize his own parties under the name Neuroleptic. After 8 years of existence Neuroleptic became one of the most successful party organizations in Brussels , catering for the techno lovers, each party being a long awaited event. Soon he became a resident at the Network club in Brussels round 1995, where he played next to techno icons such as : The Advent, Bandulu, Electric Indigo, Sensurreal, Tom Middleton and many others. At the same time he was running the Network radio show along with Fuse-resident Deg on Radio Crystal. Psychogene also was a resident at the famous Fuse club and besides that, he was a regular guest at many other respected clubs and venues such as Food, Cherrymoon, Kozzmozz, I Love Techno and 10 Days Off. Also outside of Belgium, Psychogene gained a lot of attention: going from France, Spain, Luxemburg and Germany (Love Parade, Nature One). His own tracks were noticed and appreciated by well-respected names like Carl Cox, Luke Slater, Jeff Mills and Underworld. Proof of that are the remixes he was asked to produce for these artists and the numerous mix-compilations that feature some of Psychogene’s work (Headcleaner, Sharpside,…). The Sharpside-track ‘I Love Techno’ is still the best anthem ever made for the indoor-event. In 2005, when his Fuse-resideny came to an end, Psychogene re-launched his famous Made In Brussels-concept. On 22nd March he will make the wooden Flamingo-floor thrill with his raw and energetic techno-beats. Psychogene loves to play in Limburg, so give him a warm welcome!
