About Me

Andrew Francisco is currently a Navy Saxophonist/Clarinetist with the Navy Band Northeast in Newport, RI. Andrew grew up in the Washington D.C. area and relocated to Denton, Texas to further his studies as a jazz saxophone performer and educator. He had the privilege of playing with the Grammy nominated University Of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band. He has also performed with the jazz likes of Bill Holman, Wayne Bergeron, Lou Marini, Pete Christlieb, Andy Martin, Phil Woods, Rufus Reid, Marty Nau, and many others. He has also performed in the pop music world with big name acts such as Gladys Knight, Benjamin Wright, Louis Price, The Spinners, The Temptations, and the Four Tops. He has also had the privilege of opening up for Chick Corea and Michael Buble to name a few.
Andrew is not only an accomplished performer, but is also a very accomplished teacher. His studio is filled with accomplished students that are amongst the top in their schools and in the state of Texas. He has sent numerous students to the All-Region and All-State bands. Many have gone on to major in music at high profile universities.
