This is the myspace page for the West Lancs Branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale). Covering Prston, Chorley, Adlington, Longridge and environs.Founded in 1971 we were one of the first branches of the campaign. The branch regularly holds minibus trips around selected real ale pubs and to breweries. Each month there is a Branch Social, usually in Preston and a Committee meeting.Branch awards are given every three months for a Pub of the Season and we also have an annual George Lee Memorial Trophy (in memory of an early branch Chairman and fine real ale publican) to whoever or whatever has done the most for the cause of real ale over the year.
