International turntable performer, self promoter, artist, musical innovator, Allen Allert has made Atlanta his home base again after a decade of globe-hopping. The journey begins in the early 90's right after Allen Allert dropped out of The Art Institute Of Atlanta, starting his dj work in the winters of Switzerland, at Alpine ski resorts like, Gstaad, St-Moritz, Arosa, and in the warmer climates around Europe's Mediterranean resorts of St-Tropes(France), Kos(Greece), and Rimini, Italy, in summer.
In September 1996, Allen Allert was introduced to the magic island, Ibiza by Swiss club owner Ueli Kropf (of Vivai in St-Moritz). Two weeks on the magic island made an indelible impression, and summer in Ibiza became part of Allen Allert's regular rotation, where he ultimately moved in 2001, spending the next three years. Three years of thirst, loyalty and passion to music was ultimately a period that forged a musical identity that was deep inside all along - the truth and daring to create music for the highest purpose of entertaining and stunning beat consumers. "I got turned off by party scenes quick in Ibiza. And i started meeting and connecting with real musicians and artists not music industry posers" says, Allen Allert.
Allen Allert has a firm belief that an audience of club goers has deeper, better, truer tastes and desires musically.... where their ears will not lie to them. They want to be exposed to and connect with authentically creative sounds-the unique and exotic-that which is so primal and deep, that there needs to be no reason, no logic to enjoying it. Once experienced, all that is known is the liberation from the same predictable sounds that populate the majority of venues. Allen Allert has discovered the sounds for his valuable audience. And his sounds are straight from the heart not from the chart. The sounds freed from booking agencies and stifling limitations of promoters and bookers. Who set music policies to cater entertainment to themselves and to benefit their artists and labels than catering entertainment to the audience and club goers.
