Hi here is a potted history of my life in musicI was born in Liverpool & brought up in Yorkshire where I formed my first band at school known as the Federals we backed Roy Orbison on his first UK tour, I was then a temporary member of Billy Fury's backing group The Gamblers and wrote the lyrics for the film I've Got A Horse, appearing in one scene. After the Gamblers I joined The Urchins, Adam Faith's 2nd backing band recording 3 singles with him, then I backed Dusty Springfield recording several of her hits with her playing bass & backing vocals. I was asked to back Billy Fury again as a member of the Plainsmen, on his last tour before he died.I later joined the reformed Casuals long after the originals had retired from the group.I have toured world wide in my career. Last October 2006 I had the pleasure of being the opening act for Craig Douglas & The Veronos Girls. I have recently recorded a CD on the New Embassy labelI have also over the years done extra work on films 'Yanks', 'Battle of Britain' & 'The Railway Children'.
