I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm Steve Blackburn, 27, and I live in the city of Inverness, FL. Don't feel bad if you've never heard of it, most of us here haven't either. I grew up here and moved to Orlando for 6 years, including a 2 year stint at UCF where I graduated with a degree in Creative Writing. Thus, I'm currently working as a restaurant manager. That's how it works.I miss Orlando, and when the time is right I want to move back. I miss all my friends, who became my surrogate family. I'm looking for work in the newspaper/magazine world now, since it'd be nice to put all those years and $ in college to work for me.I enjoy reading, mainly comic books lately, lol. My favorite writers include Ernest Hemingway, David Sedaris and Craig Thompson.
I edited my layout at .. , check out these Myspace Layouts!

And Steve Walked Out Into....

That phrase has been running through my head lately.   A LOT.  Very depressingly so.  Like "And Steve walked out into the field and died".  That kinda thing.  Sounds so e...

Post 2008 NFL Season: Bigger Douche: Belichick or Tiki Barber?

Last season ended and this one began with the cloud over the NY Giants from ex-Giant, Pro-Bowler Tiki Barber.  He criticized both the coach Tom Caughlin and QB Eli Manning among others on the tea...

If we make it through December....

Supposed to get the Element back today, but apparently the rain yesterday kept the paint from drying enough to reassemble.  Dammit! I have to figure out how to get it back tomorrow afternoon when...

It all began with baby raping....

With a title like that, at least you know it's not some hacker-thing trying to sell you ringtones or a larger penis.  As Michael Stipe sang, "It's been a bad day..." First thing this morning, I ...

Welcome to....

Back at the bottom, but looking up

Well, as some of you know, I'm unemployed again.  Its too long of a story to get into here, but suffice it to say, I left before I would've liked to.  I can't give too many details at the mo...

Master of the Elements
