Also to his credit he was front man and main songwriter for the outfit Willow, who dominated the local music scene, releasing three nationally recognised recordings, playing a string of festivals and shows across the country to a welcoming reception from commercial and independent radio. He also found the time to lend his talents and moonlight his expansive creativity to other recording artists, such as the soulful blues of Rob Draper and Deadman's Caravan to the electrifying hip-hop of The Bass Jumpers and Emile.2009 has seen Mark return back to his home city and form a new band DOC VINEY.
