I am a graduate of the Curbow School of Lutherie. I have been fortunate enough to have learned from two of the great Luthiers of our time, Greg Curbow and Doug Somervell. I was an apprentice for Greg before there was even a school, and he became a great friend of mine that I miss dearly. I now apprentice for Doug, and I treasure each day that I get to build under his guidance. He is a master at what he does and I consider myself lucky to know him as a master luthier and as a friend. I am currently running a small shop out of my home.- Build custom electric guitars and basses.- String instrument repairs and modifications- Standard and pro setups.I am currently building 3 custom guitars. They are the same model as the guitar in the profile photo. One of these 3 are not yet spoken for, and it can be yours! The top is a beautiful piece of bookmatched 5-A "AAAAA" quilt maple. The back is a very nice piece of crotch Mahogony, and there is a very sharp looking black pearwood verneer separating the top and back pieces. The neck is made of rockwood, and the fingerboard is ebony rockwood. At this stage, you can still decide what kind of bridge you would like, pickups, electronics, inlays, everything.
