The One

let's see... I was born in the year of the fire snake, but I feel most at peace when I'm near the water. When I was in 7th grade, I was the Battleship Champion of San Diego. In high school, I was the Prom King and won Mr. Sweetheart 3 years in a row; looking back, I realize it was everyone's way of telling me I was a big, fat (___)sapien. I once rode an elephant, on his neck, through the jungles of Thailand. and then one time in band camp... I have the worst navigation skills and have been known to call several times for directions... "ok, so where was I supposed to turn again?" I am obsessed with the sacred heart and the white dove because my family name is Paloma... which means dove; my first and only tattoo includes those images. Ironically, I'm really scared of needles and have fainted at least twice while blood was being drawn. I'm really embarrassed I just admitted that.
I have one of the loudest grunts on a tennis player; loud enough to drive people on the next court to stop playing. For some reason, doing bikram yoga for 1.5 hours in 110 degree room relaxes me. I never watch what I eat and eat at all hours of the day... my favorite old school McDonald's order was a #2 plain.
I take a lot of pictures and sometimes, a few actually turn out nice. I'm totally a momma's boy.. totally. Sometimes, as I'm running through my daily routine, I stop in bewilderment... "Am I really friggin' 30?"
I believe that there is no such thing as "not enough time..." when you love something, there is all the time in the world. I'm a late night owl that still manages to catch the worm. I'm an idiot savant, but a savant nonetheless... I never judge a book by its cover and know that all photos can be photoshopped! I usually "google" people when I first date them. Growing up, I hated my middle name Tristan... and I often sleep with my contacts on!!
