I love smiling and laughing and all things joyful. I'm very easily amused, but I think that's a good thing; I'd hate to go through life without the ability to see the humor in the little things. People always say that God has a sense of humor, but rarely laugh when they are the butt of His jokes. I pray that I will always see and appreciate His humor, because if we can't laugh at ourselves, we have no right to laugh at anyone else...and who wants to go through life without laughing at people? :)

You Are Snow
Magical yet potentially destructive
You are well known as fun to play with
People anticipate your arrival but then are quickly sick of you
You are best known for: your serenity
Your dominant state: reflecting
What Type of Weather Are You?
Lemony Snicket
Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters
Chaz is my hero, and Ryan is my favorite villan! ;)
I'm a pretty bad judge when it comes to movies, and have no right to be offended when people call my collection "lame". Stuff like American Beauty that everyone else seems to love I don't really like, but stuff that's really pretty bad I enjoy. I rarely cry in movies (I think there have been three), so it bothers me when people tell me that a movie will make me cry (like The Notebook...didn't really get that into it). I do like "good" stuff too, though. I love old stuff like Goonies, Rudy, Memphis Belle (this Sean Astin theme is completely unintentional), and REALLY old stuff like Twelve O'Clock High, White Christmas, and Holiday Inn. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: the Movie, Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, Benchwarmers, and anything else that will make water come out of my nose makes me happy. I love Wallace and Grommit! Indiana Jones brings joy to my heart, along with any other movie that allows me to win the "I've Been There" game. I LOVE Shrek, so if you're in the credits for any of the three, my heart is yours. ;)
I do NOT do scary movies of any kind. (Scary = über suspenseful, bloody, horror, stuff flying at the camera...whatever) Even previews scare me. I just can't handle them! But that's ok, because very rarely can anyone handle seeing them with me, given all the adrenaline-pumped hand/arm/leg squeezing. Even Wallace and Grommit, the Curse of the Warerabbit had me clinging to my sister for dear life!
Is it weird that there's so much explanation involved?

My Bible; Anything by Alexandre Dumas, Jane Austen, and Baroness Emmuska Orczy; Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events;" books about WWII; and books about the Middle East. Currently reading Alexandre Dumas' "The Women's War" about the Fronde and the women who ran it (and yes, I know a book should be underlined.)
Lately I've been finding owners manuals very entertaining.
