I consider myself to be creative, I like to draw and work with my hands, But I probably write more than anything, it's a natural release for me. love to write: poetry, stories, whatever is on my mind, although recently, everything has been going so well I've reached a writer's block. Misery is the greatest muse. I love film but music is my first love, and i'm really versitile when it comes to musical styles. I'm 22 so i do normal things that people would expect me to do I like hanging out with my close friends, I love smoke and drink, I've never really been the quiet stay at home type. I cherish my time with my girls. I LOVE CELTIC MYTH AND ASTROLOGY, i find that shit fascinating...The spiritual lineage of Druidry spans thousands of years. The cave initiations of Lascaux, France and Altamira, Spain, 25,000 years ago were mirrored around 3,000 B.C. in the rebirth mounds of New Grange, Ireland The Druid religion was based mainly upon an awareness of natural and supernatural energies. These energies were identified with spirits or dryads who dwelt within the ancient trees. Druids believed that trees were given spirits and attributes from the Sun, which was perceived as a symbol of the Supreme Being. Thus, trees were considered living entities, possessed with Infinite Knowledge and Wisdom...symbolically representative of the Cyle of Life, Death and Renewal. The Celts envisioned the entire Universe in the form of a tree, whose roots grew deep into the ground and whose branches reached high into the Heavens. In time, the Celtic people eventually designated a tree to each Moon Phase in their calendar in accordance with its magical properties. Therefore, the Celtic Zodiac is based upon the cycle of the Moon, with the year divided into the 13 lunar months established by the Druid religion The Druids believed that the human race originally descended from trees, each tree being endowed with its own particular mystical qualities. They encoded these mysteries in a secret shamanic alphabet known as the Ogham...the origin of which is ascribed to Ogma, the Celtic God of Poetry and Eloquence. It is said that Ogma (son of the Dagda) created the Ogham for the learned and wise to use for inscription. Originally intended to be read from the bottom upwards (or occasionally carved from right to left), Ogham (also often written as "ogam") is pronounced as "AHG-m" or simply as "OH-em." It served as an alphabet for one of the ancient Celtic languages and may have originally been adapted from a form of sign language. The current understanding is that the names of the twenty major letters are also the names of twenty trees which were sacred to the Druids. The Ogham may still be seen carved into stone monuments of the Druid Era and is thought to have been a means for the Druids to leave secret messages for one another. On the whole, the Celtic society was based upon equality and balance between the male and female...the female Druidesses being symbolized by the Dryads who lived in the sacred trees. The Goddess is often depicted as three forms in one. She is seen as the Maiden, Mother and Crone. This is seen in the phases of the moon, the heavenly symbol of the Goddess, as it passes from the Waxing New Moon to Full Moon and then as it starts to Wane, starting the cycle once more. She is seen as the universal mother the source fertility and wisdom, the giver of life, yet there is also a darker side. The Goddess is also the bringer of death, but to Wiccans and Witches alike this is not the end. We know the Goddess is within all things, so to aid our discovery of her, we look for her many aspects. For example, the most common (probably) is the moon where we see the Maiden, Mother and Crone. But what of the Earth? She is the Goddess of storms and other natural disasters, but also she is the Goddess of the light spring rain, the oceans and rivers, the giver of life and love. These are just to state a few, I hope it gives you an idea or two Symbolically, the Goddess is seen as the moon, in the cauldron used during rites and the water it contains. Animals such as the cat, dog, cow, horse, lion, spider and dolphin to name but a few are sacred to her. Also the daisy, apple, olive, rose, primrose, strawberry, catnip, poppy and violet are a few of the plants sacred to the Goddess. The consort of the Goddess is the God; often he is seen as tending the animals in the forest and being depicted as 'The Horned God' showing his association with the wild animals. (This image is probably what the Christian churches used to claim that Witches are evil devil worshippers, twisting the truth for their own means.) Together with the Goddess he celebrates and rules reproduction. As the Goddess is symbolised in the Moon, the God is symbolised by the Sun and its affects on the earth as it warms the earth allowing the sown seeds to grow, mature and be harvested before going back to the underworld during the long winter months. I have already mentioned what is the probably the most common aspect of the God, the Sun, but like the Goddess he is all around. He can be seen as the God of summer and fertility, but like the Goddess he can have some darker aspects such as the God of retribution and conflict, again I have only mentioned a couple, it is really down to you how you see the Goddess and her consort the God. Symbols that are used in association with the God include the sickle, sword, candle and spear. As with the Goddess there are plants and animals that are considered sacred to the God.
