About Me
I was born on May 14th 1988 in Osterode, near the Harz Mountains. I started playing drums at the age of five . At the age of seven I joined an accordeon orchestra of my father, where I still play nowadays.
During the following years I played with many other formations of orchestras and in 2004 I finally got my first metal band, called "thelastdirt" . We played some concerts and festivals and produced two promotial CDs.
In 2005 I joined the "Rhythm Disaster", a coverband playing commercial fun punk. I left it in 2006... It's been a great time, but I can't play the music of other people... I want to make my own music.
In the beginning of 2006 I played the drums for a recording session of my good friend Martin in a sound studio. He wrote those songs years ago and wanted to "refresh" them.
Some weeks later Martin proposed me to found a band for playing the recorded song live, too. So we found some other musicians and since that day we are "Aus Der Gegend" , a German rockband, playing heavy rock with German texts.
In January 2007 I have played drums for "Spectrodize" , a progressive rock band from the Harz Mountains. They had to record two songs for a sampler CD , but a few days before the recordings should start, the drummer left the band. So I recorded these two songs in the sound studio and a few weeks later I had a gig with the band... Meanwhile I've joined the band... ;o)
In July 2007 I joined the metal band "Cast In Silence" .
In September I was in studio for playing a playback song for the new stage program of the german comedian "Ausbilder Schmidt" .
In Octorber and November I was on tour in europe with "Cast In Silence" , "Thunderstone" and "Nocturnal Rites" .
2008 started great: I got an endorsement @ Custom Sticks!
In August 2008 "Aus Der Gegend" released their first Album "Mein Haus. Mein Heim.".
In November I got an endorsement @ Istanbul Mehmet Cymbals !
On December 1st the first songs of my new project " The Core " were released. I found that project with ex-Cast In Silence guitarrist Torsten, after he left CiS in July.

In the end of 2008 I started working for a new very progressive project called " Flaming Row " with my dear friend Martin (Aus Der Gegend, Steel Protector). Have a look to the profile of " Flaming Row "!
In March 2009 I left the bands "thelastdirt" and "Spectrodize" after years. I didn't have the time anymore to cope with them. It wasn't an easy choice, but I have to center on my other bands and projekts.
