Once upon a time there were 2 DJs who regularly damaged the ear drums of patrons at the Beercart. They enjoyed their moments of mischief on Mondays and Wednesdays, but in a flash of inspiration (probably not divine where these 2 are concerned) they decided that they could broaden this aural bombardment by putting on live bands at the pub.The management agreed, so you now get a revamped live set up with band nights changed to Thursdays, giving an extra hour of music and perfect preparation for the weekend, which lets face it, pretty much starts before Friday anyway.They'll be metal, rock, indie etc and also guest promoters to vary things a bit more. So, if you value the local live music scene, make sure you come down and support the bands.
