Band Members: Ray Ritchie- Ray Ritchie started playing guitar at the age of seven and hasn't really stopped playing since. One of the founding members of Blue Ridge Grass he's very excited about the band's latest project "Thunder Road". This is the their fourth release but the second with the new members of the band. Greg Brooks- Greg Brooks has been playing music since the age of seven. Starting on guitar and later learning the Banjo, Mandolin, and Fiddle, Greg has become a very accomplished musician in his own right. - One of the founding members of the Blue Ridge Grass more than 20 years ago, Greg still plays and sings with the same enthusiasm today as he did then. Jamie Mason- Jamie Mason has been playing the Banjo now for 11 years. While being the newest member of the band he has added the drive and intensity the band needed for that good "bluegrass sound". John Watson- In 1975, while picking around on guitars and singing songs with the guys in his Trinity College dorm, John was introduced to Bluegrass. The result was an instant obsession with learning to flat-pick like Doc Watson and he dreamed of doing nothing else. - Over the years John's guitar got what little time was left over and in the 90’s he began playing the mandolin some with Ebb & Zeb and the Dixie Mountain Boys. To his great fortune John has been able to take an early retirement from his software career and has revived the dream. Roger Watson- Roger Watson has been playing music in the North Georgia area for most of his life now. Starting out in Country music with some of the most popular bands in the area, Roger has been a very needed addition to the band.
