Growing up in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Caine was introduced to the art of hip hop at the impressionable age of twelve. Hip hop inspired something within the young teenager, it wasn’t just a sound to nod your head too, the music had true meaning and left a lasting impession on the teen. King Caine who is of Papua New Guinea & Hungarian descent started rhyming a few years later, he quickly earned the nickname “Cained†which was in reference to his ability to easily outshine others. Cained soon became King Caine and he began to not only hone his emceeing skills but also his talents behind the boards. However it wasn’t until late 2004 that Caine began to build upon his home studio, which quickly became the engine room for an endless amount of recordings till the present day. Drawing inspiration from the people closest to him, Caine endeavours to bring his family into whatever he’s doing. Whether it’s his brothers Prince P & Willis rhyming alongside him or sampling his 3 year old nephew for a beat (Push Of The Buttons), it’s a true testament to Caine’s character which shines through his lyrics. With a work ethic second to none, Caine has amassed more material then most veteran artists & whilst there isn’t a release yet to his name, the unreleased material is finally beginning to see the light of day. It looks like it’s going to be a busy next couple years for this incredibly unique artist.
