Synopsis
One of the most important bands to ever emerge from Los Angeles, X changed the face of punk music with their raw, vibrant, original style. We see the band at its peak in this legendary film, which took five years to make, hammering out a powerful story with a striking, visionary style accompanied by unforgettable music, including fifteen X classics from their first four albums, Los Angeles, Wild Gift, Under the Big Black Sun, and More Fun in the New World. Unavailable for years, one of the greatest rock films ever made returns to ensure the legacy of a music legend, featuring candid behind-the-scenes depictions of an industry in turmoil and of the lives of original band members John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Billy Zoom and D.J. Bonebrake.
