About Me

*** SEE THE BLOG "Why I should be in the top 16 Frineds"
This is a fan operated site. I am an online streaming audio radio station personality who shall remain anonymous due to my employment agreement.
This disclosure is made in order to hedge against receiving private messages intended for Ronald himself. (See Blog entry "So You Know Ronald Personally") Instead, please use the comment section and although it's public it's a start.
I am a huge fan. I especially like new groups which have followed his lead and style of guitar manipulation. My sincere hope and desire is that he eventually will tune in and see how important he is to so many and may become active here in cyberspace, at which time I will gladly hand over the keys for the asking should he desire to take the helm.
I just could not take it any longer that somehow the whole internet has managed to ignore this talented experimental noise-guitar musician who was part of The Flaming Lips 1991-1996 including during which time their hit song "She Don't Use Jelly" skyrocketed them to a new level of fame.
Bands are constantly posting questions about his latest projects, questions about which effects pedals he utilized, fans ask what his plans are for the future, etc.,
Steven Drozd had a fan that started the Asscoiation of Steven Drozd Appreciators, why shouldn't there be a place for adhoring fans and influenced bands to pay homage to Ronald Jones? I see you all agree!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This page is for people who appreciate Ronald Jones and admire his experimental noise-guitar work with The Flaming Lips 1991-1996.

Or perhaps you're aware of his work as a producer, contributing to vocals, percusion and drums on Richard Davies 1998 album "Telegraph".

We'd like to meet others who are fans. Musicians who have been influenced by him. People who care for his well being. And of course we all would more than welcome those close to him or he himself to update us with his current activities and plans as a bonus!
