I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm just an average Joe with sub-average ninja skills. I like eating various things. Somethings are meat-based. Other things contain plant material. The rest of the stuff I ingest contain one or more of the following: sugar, fat, Pop Rocks, chocolate, allergy medicine, alcohol, coffee, and junk. Oh and I like to run long distances and need a haircut.

My Interests

Generally I'm a pretty laid back guy unless you impose yourself on other people with violence or lack of consideration. In those cases, I really want to believe in karma. Generally I'm optimistic about the future and about the overall good. If there comes a day when I doubt the future and humanity, I will fight til my last breath to remember why we're all here in the first place.

I'd like to meet:

You and your friends (just the good-looking ones that think I'm funny)

Music:

Dangerdoom, Prince, DJ Shadow, James Brown, Sublime, U2, Frank Sinatra, Wu Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Journey, etc.

Movies:

Tea & a Bagel

Nothing could be finer than a hot cup of tea and a toasted bagel. On second thought there could be a lot of things as fine - world peace, an end to world hunger, a cure for cancer, beer-dispensing rob...

Wants vs Needs

My infatuation is like a New York Cheesecake donut inside a closed Krispy Kreme shop - it’s not very conducive to my personal goals, and I couldn’t get it even if I wanted it.And even if I...

Last American Slacker: Coffee and Solitude

Last American Slacker: Showdown

So it goes down like a vintage bodybuilding ad - a skinny guy like me, the girl, and you kicking sand in my face at the beach. You with the natural build of a Greek god impose your will on me with eas...

Last American Slacker: Chapter 6?

I fucking hate my job. Notice that this is not an exclamation or a surge of emotional angst. "I hate my job" is the result of months of scrutiny and logical brooding. Don’t mistake this for an e...

...but I kept reading...

I know that bars aren't the best places to meet women. It's just that bars are really good places to get beer and hangout with friends.Libraries, bookstores, and churches attract far better candidates...

Sushi Thursday vs Valentine’s Day

I think I'm more in love with the thought of being love than the actual reality of it all.But there are a few nights like tonight where self doubt creeps in and skull fucks me into believing that my p...

New Years Jeers

By all accounts I don't look thirty-one, and honestly, I don't feel a day passed 22. But as another year draws to a close I am reminded of time's indifferent march forward. No matter how we f...
